FAQ

What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a state of relaxation in which the subconscious mind is receptive to positive thoughts and suggestions. In this state we can help you to modify old, unwanted habits and/or behaviors with newly desired ones. This is a natural state for us as are in hypnosis about thirty minutes before bed, arising, or simply watching television and getting so involved entranced with it, or when driving long distances.

Why Choose hypnosis?

With my own experience, it has helped me with my focus and insomnia which are two critical issues that I’ve had for years. The focus was for school and reading retention. At fifty-six years old, returning to school seemed daunting, but with the help of hypnotherapy, my grades and retention has improved immensely. Of course, sleeping has improved as well. By accessing the power of one’s own subconscious mind, it is often quick and effective in resolving personal issues, obstacles, and habits. Also, improving focus and performance in work hobbies, sports, and general life. The benefits are a new freedom and sense of well-being.

Can I be hypnotized?

Yes, everyone has the ability to be hypnotized.

What is a hypnotic session like?

Hypnosis is a natural state of physical and mental relaxation. You are awake and aware, able to hear sounds outside, ability to get up and walk around, but you will resist because it is so relaxing. Hypnosis can only occur with your permission as our intention is to “DO NO HARM.” We are here to help you and merely a vessel, as all the answers are within the client!

Will Hypnotherapy work for my specific issue?

There is a very high likelihood that hypnotherapy will work for your issue. It is almost impossible to list ALL the possible uses of hypnotherapy but here is a very complete list of the issue we would be happy to assist you with.

Will I lose control of myself?

Absolutely not! Hypnotherapy is a way of giving you more control, not less. You cannot be hypnotized unwillingly, and you cannot be prompted to do something that is outside of your moral code or say or reveal anything you do not want to.

Can I get stuck in hypnosis?

No, you are able to come out of hypnosis any time you wish. You can no more get “stuck” in hypnosis than you can get “stuck” awake or “stuck” asleep. … For practical reasons, as hypnotherapists we do explicitly end our clients’ trances, but if we didn’t the clients would naturally either return to full alertness or fall asleep.
